First Horse Rides for the kids.

One of the doctors invited us down to her stable to visit her horses.  She has a 4 year old pony named Puddles and a retired race horse named Gracie.  The kids stuck to Puddles...the race horse is a bit wild.

Before riding they were taught how to be safe around horses and got to help groom Puddles.  If you think cats shed a lot, you have not been around a horse that sheds!

The kids really liked giving Puddles treats...she ate treats right out of their hands.

There were seven other horses on the farm, a couple of Tennessee Walkers - they're the ones that walk real pretty and a small Shetland pony that is 40 years old named Molly - Lynda believes that if they had a birth certificate on her, she would probably make it in the Guinness book of world records for age.
